Natasha Johnson Breaux

Tasha Breaux is a Research Associate in the Pollack lab and recent M.S. graduate from the TAMU-CC Marine Biology program. Her research interests include benthic and restoration ecology, and the role of freshwater inflow and salinity change on estuarine ecosystems. Tasha is leading a research project focusing on macrobenthic community response to salinity disturbance in Baffin Bay, Texas.  She is using faunal community and stable isotope analyses to investigate how the effects of salinity disturbance cascade up the food web, especially focusing on Black Drum.
