MS student, Fisheries and Mariculture Program

Patrick Graham is an M.S. student in the Fisheries and Mariculture Program.  His research interests include the life history of coastal and migratory fishes, with emphasis on larval and juvenile distributions and habitats. Recent work conducted at the University of Southern Mississippi-Gulf Coast Research Laboratory included field and laboratory studies pertaining to the seasonal occurrence and habitats of larval and juvenile Tarpon in Mississippi coastal waters. His thesis research involves assessing the relative habitat value of alternative substrates for oyster reef restoration. He will examine development of the oyster population along with faunal communities within the reefs.
